Language Access Training Scheduled for January 6

Submitted by Jennifer Wilson

On December 15, all extension professionals should have received a calendar invitation to language access training on January 6, at 1:30 p.m. via Zoom. During this training, participants will learn the basics of K-State Research and Extension's language access obligations and how to access Language Line Services for on-demand translation services. This training will be recorded for those who are unable to attend the live version.

Local units should be on the lookout for Language Line materials that were sent late last week via local unit boxes. Each local unit will have a unique access code and should receive enough materials to distribute to all office staff. Local units who have SNAP-Ed/EFNEP staff will receive additional materials with separate access codes. These materials have been starred so you will recognize the difference.

Please contact Jennifer Wilson with questions.
