Shout Out: Keith Martin

Submitted by Gregg Hadley

This week the Shout Out is from Frances Graves, Wildcat Extension District Director; and is sent for Keith Martin, Cherokee County Program Assistant. Frances writes:

"Shoutout to Keith Martin, who came out of retirement as a long-time livestock agent for the Wildcat District, to serve as a part-time program assistant in Cherokee County. Keith answered the call to serve this system we all believe in and work for when he was asked to help a neighbor county rebuild through a transition. He’s been learning EFAP and Microsoft Teams, helping the board hire for open positions, answering Ag questions, and leading the county 4-H program through preparations in the New Year. Keith has kept a great attitude through any challenges, and kept his eye on the prize of helping all the leaders work together to create a strong and cohesive system that serves the people of the county. Thank you Keith."

Keith, thanks for all you do for the people of Kansas, our colleagues and K-State Research and Extension.

If you know of a colleague or team of colleagues who deserve recognition for a job well done, why not nominate them for a Shout Out. Simply send their name(s) and the reason for the Shout Out to ksreshoutout@ksu.edu.
