OSHA-10 General Industry Course Offering

The Kansas Department of Labor (KDOL) Public Safety Team will be at Kansas State University (Dykstra Annex) providing a free OSHA-10 course for Kansas State University and surrounding communities. The official OSHA certification card is $10/card and is recommended for update every 5 years.

This course will provide an opportunity to meet with the Public Sector Team at the Kansas Department of Labor and collaborate with professionals across organizations and departments.

Topics may include: Introduction to OSHA, Walking and Working Surfaces, Fall Protection, Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention Plans, Fire Protection, Electrical, Personal Protective Equipment, Hazard Communication, Safety and Health Programs, Hazardous Materials, and more.

There will be two course offerings: July 30: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, July 31: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm; and July 31: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, August 1: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. A one-hour break for lunch is provided from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm.
