Shout Out: NE Tractor and Machine Operation Teaching Team
This week the Shout Out is from Abigail Gettinger, Shawnee County Agriculture and Natural Resources Agent; and is sent for NE Tractor and Machine Operation Teaching Team. Abigail writes:
"I want to send a shout-out to the NE Tractor and Machine Operation Teaching Team comprised of Shannon Blocker, Megin Jacques, Kyler Langvardt, Margit Kaltenekker, and Daniel Skucius! I watched as our program came together June 2nd and June 3rd with all of the teachers contributing through their area of expertise in teaching, providing resources, helping to arrange speakers, practicing flexibility and problem-solving, and supporting one another. Each person made a positive, necessary contribution to the team, and I feel so grateful for all their work in helping to teach youth about safety on the farm as well as safety while operating tractors and farm machinery!"
