Shout Out: Rebecca McMahon
This week the Shout Out is from Amanda Lindahl, Local Food Systems Program Coordinator; and is sent for Rebecca McMahon, Local Food Systems Program Administrator. Amanda writes:
"Shout out to Rebecca McMahon, Local Food Systems Program Administrator for successfully leading the 2nd Kansas Local Food Summit. We welcomed more than 160 Kansans to Salina to engage in thoughtful dialogue and networking while learning from expert peers on several different local food system breakout topics. Rebecca’s effective coordinating and planning meant our event was able to be such a huge success. She even went above and beyond to organize data and success stories from partners across Kansas to include in our opening session, setting the stage for where our local food system has been moving and painting a vibrant future. Thank you to all of our Extension colleagues who also supported this event in planning and operations during the event."
