Shout Out: Laura Savage
This week the Shout Out is from Shad Marston, McPherson County ANR Agent; and is sent for Laura Savage, McPherson County 4-H Agent. Shad writes:
"Last night , I had our annual Pre-Plant Wheat School where county producers attend to gain knowledge for the upcoming fall planting of Hard-Red Winter Wheat. This year, I asked Ms. Savage, our new McPherson County 4-H agent, if she would be able to do a Ladies Program for the wives of our local producers coming to wheat school. Laura said, "yes" and last night the ladies were in for a treat with a program teaching them how to make a terrarium. All the participants were so excited after Ms. Savage's program, even my wife made one. A special Shout Out and Thank You, for going above and beyond to teach something new, to members of our local community."
