Call for Proposals - Women Managing the Farm Conference

Submitted by LaVell Winsor

The Women Managing the Farm Conference is returning to Manhattan, Kansas, on February 12–13, 2026, and we’re looking for engaging, practical, and inspiring breakout sessions to fill this year’s program.

For more than 20 years, this conference has created space for women to connect, learn, and lead in agriculture.

What We’re Looking For
We invite proposals that:

  • Offer practical strategies women can take home and apply on their farms, ranches, or ag businesses.
  • Highlight leadership, decision-making, and professional development in agriculture.
  • Address timely issues such as land transitions, ag technology, sustainability, direct-to-consumer sales, personal development, and financial or risk management.
  • Inspire confidence, innovation, and growth in every role women play in agriculture.

Who Should Submit
Farmers, ranchers, educators, researchers, ag business professionals, students, and industry partners. If you have knowledge, experience, or a fresh perspective that can benefit other women in agriculture, we want to hear from you.

How to Apply
Submit your breakout session proposal by October 1st at https://womenmanagingthefarm.com/news/2025/08/06/call-for-2026-breakout-session-presenters. Proposals should include a session title, description, intended audience, and learning outcomes.

Together, let’s create a powerful program that equips women in agriculture to keep growing—on paper, in practice, and in purpose.
