K-State Extension and Engagement Annual Conference - Crunch Off Event
K-State Extension will be participating in the 2025 Mountain Plains Crunch Off to celebrate Farm to School Month and support for Kansas producers during our K-State Extension and Engagement Annual Conference. The Mountain Plains Crunch Off is a friendly, multi-state competition between Colorado, Montana, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming to achieve the most per capita “crunches” into local products during the month of October.
Thanks to the help of Sarah Keatley, all snacks available on our Wednesday afternoon break are sourced from Kansas! We encourage you to participate in this break and take a few minutes to enjoy the Kansas-grown and made products.
We will have a couple of team members taking pictures. We also ask that you take pictures with your colleagues, enjoying the products. Please email pictures to Christina Holmes at ChristinaHolmes@ksu.edu. Pictures received will be submitted to the Kansas State Department of Education, so K-State participation numbers can be added to the Kansas 2025 Mountain Plains Crunch Off total.
