Shout Out: Aaron Hyland (Rawlins), Tamara Robertson (Cottonwood), and Karen Nelson (Sunflower)

Submitted by Gregg Hadley

This week the Shout Out is from Helen Giefer, Thomas County ANR Agent; and is sent for Aaron Hyland, Rawlins County ANR Agent, Tamara Robertson, Cottonwood District 4-H Youth Agent, and Karen Nelson, Sunflower District Director. Helen writes:

"I would like to give a big shout out to Aaron Hyland, Rawlins County, Tamara Robertson, Cottonwood District, and Karen Nelson, Sunflower District. We have very active 4-H kids in the county, and I was tasked with getting 90-something entries to state fair after our 4-H agent resigned. Karen and Aaron kindly helped me transport everything down to Hutchinson, and Aaron and Tamara were a big help in getting things to the correct places with the appropriate tags and other information. Aaron stuck around for over an hour helping me round up all my entries at the end of state fair and then transporting them back to the county. I'm so grateful to these agents for taking the time to help with state fair and the many 4-H questions I've had!"

Aaron, Tamara, and Karen -- thanks for all you do for the people of Kansas, our colleagues and K-State Extension.

If you know of a colleague or team of colleagues who deserve recognition for a job well done, why not nominate them for a Shout Out. Simply send their name(s) and the reason for the Shout Out to ksreshoutout@ksu.edu.

Shout Out submissions are published in the order they are received.
