Getting Off to a Good Start

Submitted by Nancy Daniels

Do you struggle to find a Community Development Program Development Committee (CD PDC) agenda for your County or District? Our Community Vitality staff is here to help! You’ve done the first step: you’ve established a CD PDC with inclusive membership. We would love to come to your county or district to add energy to your discussion so that you have a plan and priorities for your Community Vitality annual agenda.

Our community vitality team has established a goal that by 2018 at least one community in every Kansas County will have been significantly and positively impacted by a KSRE Community Vitality initiative that includes the active involvement of the local agent. As a part of that goal, we would love to help your PDC to identify and meet community needs. Our team has resources which include a list of ideas from 40 years of PRIDE community activities, First Impressions and resources for developing entrepreneurial ecosystems.

Want to know more about the Community Development Resources available to you? Please plan to join us the last week in April when our team will take our Community Vitality toolbox to a community near you for a 1-day workshop. Meetings are planned in Ulysses, Wilson, Norton and Melvern, KS.

Please contact any member of our team for information or to set an appointment:
