Northwest Area 4-H Day in Hays

All 4-H youth and adults across Kansas are invited to participate in a full day of 4-H learning experiences, Saturday, March 5, in Hays on the Fort Hays State University campus. Load the vehicle and head to Hays for an amazing 4-H Day.
- Adults: Can only participate at the Kansas Leadership Center Training from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Morning Activities for Youth: starting at 10 a.m. will be the NW 4-H Judging Contest, with 5 judging contests —Crops, Entomology, Horticulture, Life Skills, and Photography. Youth can judge at one or all of these great contests. Watch for the contest rules and further details coming soon.
- Afternoon Activities for Youth: starting at 12:30 p.m. will be the Livestock Judging contest and at 1 p.m. the Northwest Area project workshops including Team Work and Team Play for everyone. Then choose your project workshop: Trebuchets/Catapults from Junk Drawer Robotics ($2); Photography (Free); Painted Canvas ($7); or Posters ($2). Watch for the registration form to come your way soon. The registration deadline is March 1, 2016.
