Partnership Meetings Follow-up

Submitted by Daryl Buchholz

Daryl Buchholz

Thanks to all who brought Board members, State Extension Advisory members, and Program Development Committee members to the 2016 Partnership meetings. The agenda is targeted for those persons, and we appreciate their giving a day of their time to gain insight into the K-State Research and Extension system for which they have important roles and responsibilities. As promised, follow this link to the Partnership Meetings website to find the PowerPoint presentations by Dr. Floros, myself, and Megan Macy. All the videos are also accessible by following this link. Copies of the 2016 K-State Research and Extension Annual Report went into the mail to each local Extension unit and you should be receiving them. You can follow this link to last week's Tuesday message where I outlined some ways in which to make good use of those reports in your local communities. Resource materials that were in the Partnership meeting packets are being posted to the Partnership meeting website today.

You might remind your board members of the resources we have on the web specifically designed for their use. Point them to the Board Leadership website: http://www.ksre.k-state.edu/boardleadership/

Also, you can find the 2016 K-State Research and Extension Annual Report, the associated videos, and further information related to the Grand Challenges at http://www.k-state.edu/challenges/.

I will be following up in the next week with further information and instruction on completing the new Memorandum of Understanding between Kansas State University and each Local Extension Unit. We already have the first signed Memorandum in our office!

Again, thanks for the active participation at the 2016 Partnership meetings!
