Celebrate Kansas Agriculture with K-State Baseball and Food Drive

Submitted by Megan Macy

Join us in celebrating Kansas agriculture at the K-State vs. Oklahoma State baseball game on Thursday, March 24 at 6 p.m.!

In honor of Kansas' largest industry, agriculture, the month of March has been proclaimed Kansas Agriculture Month. K-State Research and Extension joins members of the agriculture community to celebrate the month with the Neighbor to Neighbor food drive, hosted jointly with Dillons food stores, Harvesters – The Community Food Network, the Kansas Food Bank, and Second Harvest Community Food Bank.

There will be Neighbor to Neighbor food drive barrels, along with Cats for Cans barrels available at the baseball game to collect canned food items that will be given to the local food bank. K-State Sports is also offering discounted tickets in celebration! Tickets are just $3 with donation of a canned food item. Tickets will be general admission.
