Community Vitality Professional Development Opportunity - Don’t Miss It!

Submitted by Trudy Rice

All agents are encouraged to attend the KSRE Community Vitality Updates this spring. These will be held on the following dates:

April 26 - Ulysses
April 27 - Norton
April 29 - Melvern
May 6 - Wilson

This is an opportunity to learn more about working with the local KSRE Community Development Program Development Committee to strengthen local programming in the areas of Community Vitality and Growing Tomorrow’s Leaders. During this day long training participants will learn about current KSRE Community Vitality initiatives that can be delivered at the local level. These will include First Impressions, Kansas PRIDE Program, Youth Entrepreneurship, Board Leadership, and Community Facilitation.

The highlight of the day will be the opportunity to learn about how the local host agents have initiated Community Vitality programming in their local unit and some of the impacts of this programming.

For registration details, go to http://www.ksre.k-state.edu/community. Registration deadline is April 20.
