Submitted by Erin Yelland

Gray for a Day logo

Gray for a Day is a brand-new KSRE program that aims to educate participants on age-related sensory and functional challenges through various simulations that reflect daily routines, simple tasks, and leisure/social activities. Nine sensory aging kits have been compiled and will be distributed across the state - one will be housed at each area office, another on campus, and the remaining will be "traveling" kits.

This program is designed for groups of up to 30 participants and can be done with people of ALL AGES, including youth and older adults.

An informational and training webinar will be held on May 18th from 10 - 11:30 a.m. To sign up, please click here.

I would also like to extend a big thank you to the Academic Excellence Fund from the Office of the Provost for the funds necessary to support this effort!
