Navigating Difference Professional Development Training
Submitted by Charlotte Shoup Olsen
All Extension personnel are encouraged to take the Navigating Difference Cultural Competency training to increase your skills in working with audiences that have many and varied backgrounds. The program was developed by Washington State Extension and is used by other Extension programs throughout the nation for helping agents, program and administrative assistants, specialists, researchers, and administrators to apply new skills to their work with diverse audiences.
The next training will be March 7-8, 2017, in Manhattan. Extension administration will pay for training and lodging expenses - you only have to fund your transportation. To sign up by March 1, go to www.ksre.k-state.edu/employee_resources/registrations/.
