Great Plains Grazing Offers Webinar on Calving Season Management
Regional environmental conditions, grazing practices, calving season timing, and genetics interact to influence cattle performance, production costs and profitability. David Lalman, Professor and Beef Cattle Specialist at Oklahoma State University, will present "Calving Season Management: Environmental Considerations for Cow/Calf Production Systems in the Southern Great Plains," a free webinar at 1:30 p.m. (CT) on Thursday, April 27. The webinar is open to anyone interested in gaining a better understanding of the costs and benefits of potential cover crop mixtures within a forage system.
