Henry C. Gardiner Global Food Systems Lecture Series

Submitted by Steven Graham

The College of Agriculture/K-State Research and Extension have created the Henry C. Gardiner Global Food Systems Lecture Series, endowed by the Gardiner Angus Ranch family from Ashland, Kansas.

The fourth lecture in the series will be presented by Dr. Jason Clay, Senior Vice President for Markets and Food at the World Wildlife Fund. Dr. Clay will be speaking about “Feeding the World, Sustaining the Planet.” Dr. Clay works with some of the world’s largest companies to reduce their impact on the environment. In addition to his work with the WWF, he is the author of 20 books and is National Geographic’s first-ever Food and Sustainability Fellow.

Please hold the date of Monday, September 11, 2017. The lecture will take place at 7 p.m. in McCain Auditorium at Kansas State University.

For more details, please visit the lecture series’ web page for more details: http://www.k-state.edu/globalfood/lecture-series/.

We hope to see you on Monday night, September 11, along with a huge crowd to kick off our fourth lecture.
