First Friday E-Call on June 2 at 9:30 a.m.
Entrepreneurs who choose to start their small businesses are responsible for 63 percent of net new jobs created in the United States every year. (Ks Department of Commerce, 11/10/16)
Cindy Evans, Shawnee County Extension Director, is our guest speaker on the June 2 "First Friday e-Call." Cindy will tell us about the two "Supporting Small Business Workshops" in Shawnee County.
The purpose of the First Friday e-call is to create a network of agents who are aware of the resources for Entrepreneurs and Small Business and to increase the number of transactions between entrepreneurs and these resources. The First Friday e-Call is sponsored by the Entrepreneurship subgroup of the Community Development PFT and presented on Zoom. If you'd like to participate in this call, email nkdaniels@ksu.edu. Please come to the call prepared to share how your community helps their small businesses.
The First Friday phone calls occur monthly -- approximately 8-9 times per year.
