Biodiesel Workshop January 10, 2018
A Biodiesel Workshop will be held on Wednesday, January 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Manor Conference Center, Kansas ExpoCentre, Topeka, Kansas. This event is open to all that are interested in making and using biodiesel.
Topics to be covered: Implementing biodiesel into fleets, cold weather flow ability, biodiesel properties, and biodiesel production basics. Speakers will include Steve Howell, Marc IV partners (fuel standards expert); Hoon Ge, MEG Corp (fuel testing expert); Donnell Rehagen, National Biodiesel Board CEO; and Luke Jaeger, Emergent Green (biodiesel producer).
There is no charge for attendance, but preregistration is requested. Refreshments and a lunch meal are included. The event is being produced by K-State Extension, KU Biodiesel Initiative, NCK Tech, and Seward County Community College. The Kansas Soybean Commission is the event sponsor.
