Nominations for USS Awards
It is the time of year to recognize the great work of our University Support Staff. Two of the programs need immediate action now!!
1) Departmental/Unit Employee of the Year Award and Recognition Program ($300)
The COA (and KSRE) award nominations must come to Dorothy Doan in the Dean and Director's office from your Department/Unit by February 9, 2018. Please use the link below to send in your award nominations.
A committee appointed by the Dean and Director will determine the two COA (and KSRE) winners. If you submitted the name of a great University Support Staff person last year and they were not recognized, please consider resubmitting their nomination this year, with some new details.
The winners' names will be forwarded to the University Support Staff Senate to be recognized as Departmental/Unit Employees of the Year at the University Support Staff Employee Recognition Ceremony on April 18, 2018.

2) Kansas State University Support Staff Award of Excellence ($1000)
Three University Support Staff can be recognized and receive $1000 each. They will also be recognized at the University Support Staff Recognition Ceremony on April 18, 2018. This is the eighth year for this award.
*Award nomination deadline is February 16, 2018.

3) K-State University Support Staff Belonging Award (New in 2018)
Award Nomination Deadline: February 16, 2018
Purpose
This university-wide award was established to recognize outstanding work on inclusivity and belonging efforts here at K-State.
Awards
One award winner will be selected. The winner will receive:
Letter of Acknowledgment from the University President
Gross Check for $1000.00 (reduced by any award payment received under the University Support Staff Employee of the Year Award.)
Acknowledgment in K-State Today
Name added to plaque located in Anderson Hall (winners will be added yearly)
