Have You Heard About JOE?

Submitted by Laurie Chandler

JOE is the acronym for Journal of Extension, the official refereed journal of the Cooperative Extension System. JOE is published six times a year and features articles that discuss concepts and research findings of interest to Extension professionals. In addition, JOE serves as a forum for emerging and contemporary issues affecting Extension education. It is available at no cost to the subscriber.

Each issue contains something that should be of interest to all Extension professionals. The April 2019 issue includes:

  • Engage the Future: The New Extension Learners
  • Tailoring Extension Efforts for Promotion of Diversified Crop Rotation Systems
  • Assessing the Social Media Use and Needs of Small Rural Retailers: Implications for Extension Program Support
  • Long-Term Behavior Change of Participants in a Northeast Nutrition Education Program

To view the current issue, go to www.joe.org. To subscribe, see the link at the top of the page.
