Making Technology Work for You

Submitted by David Key

The Meadowlark Extension District is sponsoring a hands on tech workshop on Thursday, May 23, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Highland Community College Western Center in Baileyville, KS (just west of Seneca on highway 36). The workshop is presented by Cyndi Kuhn who is affiliated with the College Of Education on campus and will feature tips and tricks to help your technology work for you.

The workshop will present various Google Add-ons that support your work, short-cuts, problem solving tips and tech tools that will make your work life easier. We will also explore social media tools that help navigate social media in the work place. This workshop is a step by step together workshop and you will leave the day with things you can use as well as tutorials and resources to refer to later.

Bring your laptop or iPad and a fully charged power supply and enjoy the day! Registration is $10 per person payable by May 23 to the Meadowlark Extension District and includes refreshments and lunch. Seating is limited so if you are interested in attending, contact David Key, Meadowlark Extension District Director, by Friday, May 10.
