The start of June means that summer programs have officially begun in the Diversity Programs Office (DPO). The weekend before last we welcomed seven students for the Kansas State Research and Extension Summer Research Fellowship Program. The DPO would like to share some information about our summer programs:

• 2019 KSRE Summer Fellowship: This program is in its 14th year and serves as an educational in nature and designed so that the participants receive the primary benefit by learning hands-on research techniques, methods, procedures, and about related topics. This camp is organized by a retired educator, and Nicodemus descendant, Dr. John Ella Holmes. Students arrive for this program on June 16, and will be on campus through the June 18, 2019. While on campus, they will visit the Insect Zoo, the Gardens, O.H. Kruse Feed Technology Innovation Center, Snyder Stadium and the Agronomy North Farm and participate in an urban gardening activity. We want to thank everyone for helping to provide our students with a great experience.
