Shout Out: K-State Research and Extension Sedgwick County Family and Consumer Sciences Team
This week’s Shout Out comes from the Director of K-State Research and Extension Sedgwick County, Jennifer Brantley, and is extended to that county’s Family and Consumer Science Team.
“Each year, the Wichita Business Journal honors Health Care Heroes. The Health Care Heroes program honors companies, individuals, and organizations for their contributions to improving health care in Wichita and the surrounding area. Our Family and Consumer Sciences team, consisting of agents Teresa Hatfield, Sara Sawer, Elizabeth Brunscheen-Cartagena, and Stephanie (DeLong) Lopez, is an awardee for the Community Outreach category.
Their work will be highlighted in an upcoming issue of the Wichita Business Journal and recognized at the dinner scheduled for August 1, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency Wichita ballroom.
We are very excited about this recognition!” Way to go Teresa, Sara, Elizabeth, and Stephanie!
If you know of a colleague or colleagues that are deserving a Shout Out for their work, please send an email to me at ghadley@ksu.edu and give me their name(s) and the reason why they are so deserving.
