Reminder-Register Now for July 8th Farm Bill Training
As the 2018 Farm Bill ARC/PLC program election period nears, this training will provide agents with the knowledge they need to provide farmers with educational expertise in making their program elections for 2019 and 2020. During the 2014 Farm Bill program election period, 179 meetings were held by agents across the state reaching over 11,000 producers. Individual consultations afterwards numbered 3,253, reaching almost 9,000 FSA farm numbers. This is an all-hands-on-deck effort that we want to make sure each Ag agent is prepared for. Recordings of the key presentations will be made available for those who cannot attend, but participation at the actual training is HIGHLY encouraged.
