Shout Out: Tristan Copes
K-State Research and Extension Community Vitality Specialist and Program leader Coordinator Trudy Rice nominated K-State Research and Extension Marion County’s Tristen Cope for this week’s Shout Out.
“I would like to share a shout out to Tristen Cope from Marion County. Tristen worked with Jaime Menon and Marion PRIDE to host the KSRE Community Vitality State Specialists in Marion, KS. After participating in the day long activities and learning about Marion improvement initiatives, it became apparent to me that Tristen Cope and K-State Research and Extension Marion County is truly connected with the communities they serve. From the local FFA Chapter to the local Food Bank to the Superintendent of Schools, they all referred to the educational offerings of the Community Health and Wellness programming coordinated by Tristen Cope!
It has been said that it takes a village to raise a child and Tristen has demonstrated that it takes a village to have a healthy community. Through the leadership of Tristen it is apparent that K-State Research and Extension Marion County and the Marion PRIDE are truly the backbone organizations to make this happen in Marion, Kansas.”
Tristen, thanks for all you do for the people we serve, your colleagues, and K-State Research and Extension!
If you know of a colleague or colleagues that have done something quite extraordinary and deserve a Shout Out, please send their name(s) and the reason for the Shout Out to ghadley@ksu.edu.
