Research Update
The 2020 Cattlemen's Day Report is now available online. This report includes research on beef cattle management, nutrition, and meat science conducted at Kansas State University. Specific topics include effects of prescribed burning and timing, stocker steer gains, feeding cold stressed calves, video sale prices, digestibility, inflammation, lean growth and methionine flux in cattle, steak shelf life, steak pH, and sensory evaluation of steaks.
