Shout Out: Erin Yelland
This week’s Shout Out comes from our Family and Consumer Science Program Leader Coordinator and Southeast Regional Family and Consumer Science Specialist Gayle Price. Gayle writes:
“I would like to recognize Dr. Erin Yelland, Extension Specialist, Adult Development and Aging, for her leadership and work with the North Central Region Aging Network (NCRAN). Erin was instrumental in the establishment of the NCRAN in 2016. Her enthusiasm and leadership has resulted in the development of a resource toolkit, a webinar series and the current Journal of Extension (JOE) article. The purpose of NCRAN is to strengthen our ability to meet curricular and educational demands related to the topic of aging, as a team of Family and Consumer Sciences professionals. To learn more about the work of NCRAN, link to the JOE article at: https://joe.org/joe/2020february/iw1.php?utm_source=email&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=2020february .“
Thanks Erin for all you do for the people we serve, your colleagues, profession, and K-State Research and Extension.
If you know of a colleague or team of colleagues who deserve a Shout Out, please send me their name(s) and the reason for the Shout Out to ghadley@ksu.edu.
