Welcome Erin Bishop to DUFB Position!

Submitted by Sandy Procter

We are happy to introduce Erin Bishop, the new KSRE coordinator for the Double Up Food Bucks program, who started yesterday, April 6. Erin will be working with local farmers' markets across Kansas (excluding the KC metro area and Wichita area) to help them become DUFB ready. She will work with local Extension agents and educators, as well as community stakeholders, interested in forming and strengthening farmers’ market opportunities and outreach, especially to SNAP audiences.

Previously, Erin was a KSRE Extension FCS agent in the Ft. Riley office, and most recently served as outreach coordinator for KSU’s Cats Cupboard pantry. She will be working from her home in Manhattan and can be contacted at erbish@ksu.edu. Welcome, Erin!
