Shout Out: Karen Blakeslee
This week’s Shout Out comes to us from food safety specialist Londa Nwadike and is directed to fellow food safety specialist and Rapid Response Center Coordinator Karen Blakeslee. Londa writes:
“I wanted to suggest a Shout Out for the Tuesday letter to Karen Blakeslee. Karen has put out numerous press releases on timely topics, she efficiently updates numerous websites, built our Local Foods team website and our COVID-19 and food safety website very quickly, and answers numerous questions from Extension agents related to foods, food judging, county fairs, etc. She also does a great job sharing food-related information on social media and is always willing to contribute to other foods-related activities. This is in addition to her other recent shout out for developing the food judges online training. I am very thankful to work with Karen!“
