Mailing List Policy
A new mailing list policy document is now available on the Employee Resources website. Our system has been following the intent of this policy for sometime. This document consolidates all of the information into one easily accessible place. To summarize the important points:
- We have a responsibility to mailing list members to safeguard their personal information.
- Mailing lists should be used solely for the purpose of furthering Extension educational programs. They should not be used for personal, commercial or political purposes.
- All program participants should have the opportunity to sign up for and opt out of mailing lists at any time.
- Extension has the responsibility to ensure lists are created and updated with the intent of providing equal access to information by the appropriate inclusion of racial/ethnic minorities, members of both sexes and the disabled.
