October is Open Enrollment for Health Insurance
The month of October is typically known as the month for health insurance open enrollment for K-State employees. In October, employees will need to log in to their State Employee Health Plan MAP portal to elect their health insurance plan for 2021. Employees will also have the ability to elect optional group life insurance as well. The State Employee Health Plan (SEHP) page has moved and changed, you may want to go to it and look around so you are familiar with it when you are looking for information.
Employees will receive open enrollment communications through similar ways they have in the past.
Benefits updates will not be held during this year's annual conference. Employees with state benefits will be notified of and are encouraged to participate in webinars held by the SEHP. Employees with federal benefits will be notified of an update to be held in November.
