Shout Out: Sedgwick County Agents and Staff

Submitted by Gregg Hadley

This week’s Shout Out comes to us from K-State Research and Extension – Sedgwick County director, Jennifer Brantley. Jennifer wrote:

“I would like to give a Shout Out to Sedgwick County agents Rebecca McMahon, Liz Brunscheen-Cartagena, Sara Sawer, Stephanie Lopez, Teresa Hatfield, Alexandria Ware, Nicole Biery and several staff members for their work with the Spring Break Activity Kit.

The Spring Break Activity Kit idea was created by Rebecca and offered to any agent who wanted to participate. Each area provided an activity that children can more or less do on their own, or with minimal adult supervision. These kits with activities representing extension programs will be dispersed to families in time for spring break in mid-March.

All agents and staff involved in bringing this project together have done a great job working together in a transdisciplinary way to continue to reach out to families in Sedgwick County!”

To our Sedgwick County team, thanks for all you do for the people we serve, our colleagues, and K-State Research and Extension!

If you know of a colleague or team of colleagues who deserve recognition for going above and beyond the call of duty, why not give them a Shout Out? Simply send their name(s) and the reason for the Shout Out to ghadley@ksu.edu.
