Shout Out: Nat Bascom
This week’s Shout Out is from Christine Daskais, program administrator for our Sorghum and Millet Innovation Lab. Christine wrote:
“I’m submitting a Shout Out for my co-worker, Nat Bascom, associate director of the Sorghum and Millet Innovation Lab in the College of Agriculture.
Nat has been my co-worker for a year and has been an incredible mentor during this time. He is always available for any questions I have and open to new ideas. He is also an incredible connector, very approachable and always looking for ways for people to work together and improve their productivity and results by gathering their expertise. We work with researchers and individuals across the United States, Europe and Africa. Nat’s demeanor and experience bring trust and break culture’s barriers. He has a unique way to look at challenges and think strategically and thoughtfully about solutions. Lastly, he is always friendly and amazingly calm. Talking with other co-workers, we like to say that we want to be like him when we grow up!”
Nat, thanks for all you do for the people we serve, your colleagues, and K-State Research and Extension!
If you know of a colleague or team of colleagues that deserves recognition for a job well done, why not give them a Shout Out? Simply send their name(s) and the reason for the Shout Out to ghadley@ksu.edu.
