National Professional Development Opportunity

Achieving the Extension Mission through Volunteers (AEMTV) is a national online cohort-based course for Extension professionals utilizing volunteers to deliver programs.

You will:

  • Engage in content designed to increase volunteer leadership and management competencies. Read the Impact this course is having on colleagues across the country.
  • Join a cohort of 20-30 people from other states.
  • Develop connections with colleagues to share ideas, provide feedback on volunteer management concepts and explore strategies to meet the needs of volunteers.
  • Leave with a framework and foundation to work with and develop volunteer capacity.

Time Commitment:

  • Allow 4-6 hours per week for pre-recorded sessions; readings; activities and three live webinars. 

Registration Details:

AEMTV will provide you with tools to strengthen your overall volunteer management success.  

Funding Options:

  • Check with Area Extension Director or Institute leadership.
  • Funding for PYD colleagues is provided. Email Lori Murphy to have her pay your registration fee and register you. lori.murphy@wisc.edu.
