Shout Out: Aliesa Woods
The Shout Out this week comes from Donna Krug, Cottonwood District Director, and is sent in appreciation to Aliesa Woods, Central Regional Director. Donna writes:
"No doubt you, or someone you know, was affected by the wind storm that passed through our state on December 15. While the weather predictions earlier in the week were spot on, it was still hard to comprehend what needed to be done in preparation. The following day a phone call from Aliesa Woods, my regional director, who was in the midst of her own property clean-up effort in Lincoln County, was quick to check on the wellbeing of our staff and offices. The concern shown by Aliesa made me proud to be part of the Extension Team.
A few hours later I received an email from KSRE Administration with information about behavioral health resource support for those directly affected by the fires in our area. I know other agents and district directors sprang into action to lend a hand as well. Thank you to everyone who made a difference!"
Aliesa, thanks for all you do for the people of Kansas, our colleagues and K-State Research and Extension.
