Building KSRE Leaders Connection

Submitted by Nancy K Daniels

Kansas Leadership Center

Over the past 3 years, 79 K-State Research and Extension professionals from 47 counties have taken 109 Kansas Leadership Center (KLC) Classes valued at over $92,000. As part of this effort, we are inviting KSRE professionals, those who have been to KLC training and those who have not, to a quarterly gathering called “Building KSRE Leaders Connection.” The purpose of this gathering is to demonstrate and reinforce KLC leadership skills and techniques.

The next session is Thursday, January 13, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. by zoom. We will be demonstrating the Peer Consultation Model using an example from an agent who has an adaptive challenge: getting her Board to take on new programming to meet county needs. We’ll demonstrate how to use this process to help the agent see a pathway toward a positive resolution.

Please join us.
