Board and PDC Member Recruitment
Nothing is more important to your local Extension Unit than getting qualified, dedicated and enthusiastic people to serve on your PDC'S and Board. An important task indeed but it also comes with challenges. It’s just not about recruiting one great individual; it's about having the right blend of skills, expertise, community connections and diversity across the entire board. As you think about recruiting folks, use the Recruiting Board and PDC Members module at an upcoming board meeting.
Does your Board and PDC’S reflect the demographics of your local community? When Boards and PDC’S are representative of the entire community, they are more likely to offer and help design Extension programs that are inclusive of all community members.
