Vaccination Awareness Campaign at the March 2-3 United Associations Conference

Last Friday’s K-State Today reminded us that vaccinations are necessary for young adults attending K-State. Those young adults have families, friends and co-workers who can also benefit from getting caught up on lifetime vaccinations. During the March 2-3 United Associations Conference in Wichita, "Get Caught Up" and "Vaccine Fears Overturned by Facts" campaign materials will be available to conference participants through a partnership with KSRE, IKC (Immunize Kansas Coalition), the Staley School of Leadership Studies, and the Leadership Communication PhD program at K-State. The free materials kick-off a spring campaign on vaccine confidence that prepares K-State students to share reputable vaccination information with those they care about.

Contact Sakshi Bhati, Leadership Communication PhD candidate and coordinator of the Vaccine with Confidence project; or Elaine Johannes, Professor in Community Health and State Extension Specialist for more information.
