Teen Leadership Opportunities Available at Rock Springs Ranch

Submitted by Jared & Letha Causby

At Rock Springs Ranch, there are two options for teen leadership programs: Counselors in Training (CIT) and Leaders in Training (LIT).

As a reminder, we are continuing to expand our teen opportunities at camp with the LIT program launching this summer. These week-long sessions will be for our rising sophomores and juniors, which will include some great volunteer opportunities as well as some unique camp experiences making friendships along the way.

The CIT program is for rising seniors. Teens will receive camper care training and counselor experience. There will also be time throughout the week for the CITs to enjoy some of the camp activities as a group. CITs will travel with younger cabin groups and be given limited responsibility over the campers from breakfast to bedtime.

Camperships are available for both opportunities through generous donors at the Kansas 4-H Foundation. If you know someone who would be perfect for this program, please send us their contact information or submit it here by March 15, 2023.

Please share this opportunity and link with your local 4-H families.
