Shout Out: Charlene Miller

Submitted by Gregg Hadley

This Shout Out comes from Bonnie Brewer, Family and Consumer Sciences agent in Butler County, and is directed to Charlene Miller, Butler County Director. Bonnie writes:

"I would like to give a shout out to Butler County Director and Ag Agent Charlene Miller. Charlene is a true demonstration of servant leadership. I am new to the extension world, and Charlene has shown me what it means to have a director who takes time to help those she works with to feel valued and listened to. She encourages us to reach our full potential while remembering the importance of our core values and people. Leading by example is what true leadership is all about.

So, here’s to Charlene, who is constantly rising above, going over and beyond, and who balances all the hats she wears with beauty and grace. Thank you, Charlene, for ALL that you do!!!"

Charlene, thanks for all you do for the people of Kansas, our colleagues and K-State Research and Extension.

If you know of a colleague or team of colleagues who deserve recognition for a job well done, why not nominate them for a Shout Out. Simply send their name(s) and the reason for the Shout Out to ksreshoutout@ksu.edu. Also, it would be very helpful if you would put "Shout Out" in the subject line of the email.
