Kansas Specialty Livestock Producers Invited to Take Survey
Specialty livestock producers in Kansas are invited to take a brief survey regarding their operations and marketing issues. Logan Britton, assistant professor of agricultural economics; Nellie Hill, assistant professor of agricultural communications and journalism; and Kansas Department of Agriculture employees are attempting to address market access issues of specialty livestock producers in Kansas.
All sheep, goat, poultry, rabbit and other producers at least 18 years old are eligible to participate in this survey. This survey should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete, and responses are anonymous. The survey is available online. The survey will close toward the end of May.
Individuals who refer at least five specialty livestock producers and their respective email addresses will be entered into a drawing for $100 gift cards. The referral form can be found online.
This study has been reviewed by the K-State Institutional Review Board and received approval No. IRB-11503.
