July Local Food Virtual Town Hall will be on July 26

The Local Food Transdisciplinary Team would like to invite you to attend our July Local Food Virtual Town Hall that will be held on Wednesday, July 26, at 11 a.m. on Zoom. You can register here. 

The town halls are an opportunity for people from across the state of Kansas to network, learn and share about local food system projects and resources for Kansans.

This quarter our featured topics and speakers include:

• The impact of local food system economists in connecting producers to opportunity - Becca Jablonski, Colorado State University Assistant Professor and Food Systems Economist
• Urban and small-scale grower needs assessment results - Katie Starzec, Kansas State University Assistant Professor, Agriculture Communications & Journalism
• Resilient Food System Infrastructure program – Trace Mulligan, Kansas Department of Agriculture
