Remember to Nominate an Excellent Communicator
Do you know an exceptionally good communicator who consistently conveys K-State Research and Extension information to the public and to the media? Consider nominating him or her as one of the 2023 Communicators of the Year.
This award is given by the Department of Communications and Agricultural Education and Kansas Chapter of Association for Communication Excellence (ACE) annually at the K-State Research and Extension Annual Conference. We give two awards to excellent communicators: one to a faculty member, extension specialist, or researcher (often tenure-track positions), either on campus or in one of the area offices or research centers; and one to a non-tenure-track extension agent, extension associate or assistant, or unclassified professional, either on campus or in a county or district extension office. Members of the Department of Communications and Agricultural Education (which includes our marketing, news, audio, video and photography personnel) are excluded from consideration for this award.
