Shout Out: Volunteers and Extension Professionals Who Helped Make the Kansas State Fair a Great Success
This Shout Out comes from Sarah Maass, State 4-H Youth Development Program Leader, and is directed to all volunteers and extension professionals who helped make the Kansas State Fair a great success. Sarah writes:
"This Shout Out goes to all volunteers and extension professionals who helped make the Kansas State Fair a great success. We know that there is a lot of work done in each extension office to help get all the exhibits prepared and ready to be transported to the state fair, and then back home.
There are also countless hours spent recruiting judges, volunteers, etc. to prepare for the judging days. When it comes to the judging days, we need so many people to step up and help, and the requests were answered.
Additionally, a special thanks to the leadership of our Kansas State 4-H team! Thank you all for the part you played in making the Kansas State Fair a success!"
All volunteers and extension professionals, thanks for all you do for the people of Kansas, our colleagues and K-State Research and Extension.
