Facilitation Initiative Intensive Training

Submitted by Deborah Kohl

Extension professionals are often seen as connectors, advocates, and energizers in their communities and organizations. Well-developed facilitation skills are critical to everyone serving within our system.
With help from the K-State 105 Initiative, our KSRE Team will present a unique opportunity to build capacity in our system by growing our facilitation skills.

Please consider applying to attend the inaugural Facilitation Initiative Intensive Training workshop, April 1-3, 2024 in Great Bend, Kansas. Applications are live and can be found here: FIIT Application, on the KSRE Resources TEAM, or by emailing the regional director for your location.

Full participation is required including evening activities.

This training is provided as part of the capacity building effort to enable our KSRE system to better support the 105 Initiative. Registration, lodging, and meals are provided.

Applications will be screened, and participants will be selected based on program areas and locations across the state.
