Shout Out: Kansas 4-H Foundation
This week the Shout Out is from Jill Martinson, on behalf of the KAE4-HA planning committee-Kansas 4-H Day with the Wildcats; and is sent for the Kansas 4-H Foundation. Jill writes:
"The Kansas Association of Extension 4-H Agents hosted Kansas 4-H Day with the Wildcats on January 13th when the K-State women's basketball team added another win to their impressive season by defeating the Texas Longhorns. The event planning committee sends a huge SHOUT-OUT to the Kansas 4-H Foundation - Mindy Weixelman, Maria Childs, and the entire staff for volunteering their office as the ticket/t-shirt pick-up location. In addition to being gracious hosts, they helped sort hundreds of t-shirts and greeted families. This people power was especially appreciated as winter weather and road conditions had several committee members stuck at home.
Right at 1,000 tickets were purchased for the event this year. We're looking forward to the 2025 game and hope to see you there. Go Cats!"
