Master Farm Family Award Nominations Due Soon
The time for selecting the next class of Kansas Master Farm Families is almost here. As the new executive secretary/treasurer of the Master Farmer Association, I’m asking local Extension agents and county/district councils to nominate and reach out to a farm or ranch couple deserving of this time-honored recognition…based on their agricultural achievements, family living and rural citizenship. More detailed information will be coming via e-mail very soon, but please be considering this and start the process right away, if you haven’t already done so. Applications will be due in the Extension administration office on campus on Friday, May 10th, with selection of the new class set for late May.
