Importance of Women in Industry and Agriculture, March 19

Submitted by Zelia Wiley

Happy Women’s History Month!

Women’s History Month was started in 1987 to recognize and honor the contributions women have made to the United States.

Join the K-State College of Agriculture for a talk over the “Importance of Women in Industry and Agriculture” today, Tuesday, March 19, 2024. The event will take place at 4:30 p.m. in Town Hall of Leadership Studies or via Zoom. Please RSVP at https://bit.ly/WHM24. We encourage all to attend as we celebrate International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month.

This event will feature Nikki Lang, Head of Diversity, Equity, and Belonging at Bimbo Bakeries USA.

K-State MANRRS (Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences) and the College of Agriculture and K-State Research and Extension Diversity Programs Office are partnering to host this event. Thank you to BIMBO for serving as our speaker. The event promises to be engaging and impactful yet can only be great with your participation.
